About Savannah
Savannah was born and raised in the big city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Reading has been part of her life as far back as she can remember. It seems she always had books around and read anything she could get my hands on. Savannah would go to the library two or three times a week. Her library card was one of her most cherished possessions.
Savannah’s dad introduced her to the classics, Call of the Wild and White Fang by Jack London when she was nine years old. She can’t remember a time when she wasn’t reading some sort of a book.
In 1986, Savannah left the city life behind and moved to the Northern woods of Wisconsin. She believes it was the best move she ever made! She raised her two children in a small rural community where everyone knew everyone—literally! It was at that time her love of nature grew and she formed a new found respect for the great outdoors
.
Now, while still doing in-home day care, she also works for an incredible publishing company. Even with all that on her plate, Savannah still finds time to write, and considers herself very blessed in being able to throw her hat in the ring with the other very talented authors.
When time allows, you’ll find her reading or doing one of her hobbies such as scrapbooking. Savannah also enjoys spending time with friends and family… especially her new grandson.
Savannah will always have a book that needs reading. Whether it’s a romance with a bit of history in it, a mystery that she wants to solve before the final chapter or a horror story that leaves her sleeping with the lights on, books will always be a huge part of her and her life. And then there are the stories that need to be written and told…
Hugs & Nightmares,
Savannah Rayne
